My oil paintings reflect my love of large, brightly colored canvas. The subject matter is personal, expressive, and intriguing. Each painting has a story.

My paintings often incorporate a professional challenge that is interesting to me. Glass, water, bubbles, reflections, a bustling street, a calico of flowers, folds in a crisp Oxford shirt… all are details that inspire me.

In my paintings I strive to create an almost animated moment that affects the individual viewer on a shared, yet personal, level.

I hope that people will be initially drawn to my works by their size and vibrancy, then linger while they connect with some recognizable detail or subtle expression.
